As an Accounts Officer at BSM, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial operations and compliance with accounting standards, supporting timely processing, reporting, and reconciliation of accounts. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity and enabling informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounting transactions, including invoices and expenses, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting principles and legislation.

• Execute timely settlement of accounts and payments to support smooth business operations.

• Prepare and issue client invoices in line with contractual agreements and monitor payment schedules, addressing discrepancies promptly.

• Perform reconciliations of accounting transactions and maintain accurate records and ledgers.

• Update management accounting systems to provide reliable financial data for performance evaluation and cost control.

• Assist in internal and external audits by gathering and providing required documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.

• 0-1 years of relevant experience, ideally within ship management or a similar industry.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems.

• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports, statements, and projections.

• Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail.

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

• Understanding of local/regional maritime market conditions.

• Fluency in English.
